Baby H reached 3 lbs yesterday, and last night he officially weighed 3 lbs 1/2 oz! We feel like this is a big milestone and are excited about moving beyond the 2 lb range to the 3 lb range. He continues to do well, and when I asked one of the neonatologists today if she had any concerns related to him, she said she did not. As we expected, she said he just needs to gain weight and work on his feedings. She also said he had an eye exam a few nights ago that was completely normal. Again, we are so blessed that he is doing so well!

S keeps talking about the "baby" and points to baby H's room when we are upstairs and says "baby." It is very cute! We know S will be a good big brother and look forward to seeing him interact with baby H. While we keep talking about baby H, S has not been able to see him since Monday due to being sick. We took him to the doctor yesterday and found out what he has, and now he is on an antibiotic. We hope that he will be well enough tomorrow to go back into the NICU and visit baby H.

What wonderful news. I'm so glad that H is gaining weight and will soon be moved into an area where you will be able to hold and feed him more. Sorry to hear about S being sick. Poor little guy. Just glad you are able to be home with S when he needs you.
