Our Family Story

Several years into our marriage, we felt God was leading us to start a family. We had no idea that it would take several years for this to happen. We quietly dealt with infertility for a few years and then felt God's calling for us to adopt a child from Russia. We adopted our son S in April 2008 after a 19 month adoption process. The process was extremely difficult at times, but it was completely worth it when we finally got to bring our son home with us! We still have lots to learn as new parents, but God blessed us with us a such a happy and cheerful little boy! After being told several years ago that we would most likely never have biological children on our own, we learned in December 2008 that we were expecting a child. We found out in March that we are having a little boy! The pregnancy has had many ups and downs, but we know that God created this child and continue to pray for his growth and that he will arrive safely and be a healthy baby boy!
